Kahuna Healing was popular for thousands of years throughout the islands of the South Pacific before Western explorers arrived.
The Polynesians who first populated these islands practiced energy or spiritual healing regularly, and legends still abound about “miraculous” healing through Kahuna (mystical or magical powers).
Master Sio humbly carries on that tradition after studying with Maori tohunga in New Zealand, kahuna in Hawaii, Samoa, Tonga, Rarotonga, Tahiti, Australia and Kiribas, in addition to developing his own inner spiritual power and talent.

I was born in the village of Neiafu on the island of Vava’u in the small island Kingdom of Tonga in the South Pacific, not far from Fiji, Tahiti and New Zealand.
My father was a physician who served in many remote locations throughout Tonga. I recall being coddled by many different local families, “raced” giant land turtles on an outlying island, and watched as several native healers succeeded where my father had failed with his Western medication and surgery.
No surprise to Polynesians who had robustly survived thousands of years without Western medicine.
That’s not to say my father always failed, merely that I discovered at a young and impressionable age that the treatments rejected by Western medicine/technology surprisingly were often more effective.
I am today even more convinced that in many cases, so-called alternative therapies often serve us better.
As I grew up, I became familiar with herbal treatments under the careful tutelage of my aunt Kalo. She maintained a friendly sibling rivalry with my physician father throughout her life.
I recall one native healer setting a compound fracture with nothing more than a poultice of herbs and vigorous massages which set the injured man screaming at the tops of his lungs.
But he recovered full use of his fractured lower arm within a few days.

My hands hover like this over your body during a healing session. It is the most common position.
You keep all your clothes on during the healing session and there no physical touching during the healing session. The Kahuna Healing Energy transfers from my hands into your body most readily through your hands, feet and temples.

The mat and black fiber rope around my waist are worn as a cultural sign of respect in the Kingdom of Tonga where I was born.
Below: I enjoy working around the house although I often have to call a qualified handyman to come and finish a job I started. Oh well…
Since I am not a physician, I do not diagnose, prescribe medications or otherwise treat anyone. I do recommend everyone to follow their doctor’s advice and to view Kahuna Healing as complementary. Like regular medical treatment, there is no guaranteed result. However, with Hawaiian Kahuna Healing, there’s always a measure of spiritual or energetic healing at some level – sometimes subtle, sometimes astonishingly dramatic.
